LinkedIn experiments with short video format inspired by TikTok

LinkedIn is currently experimenting with a new feature that will allow users to view short videos in a format similar to TikTok. The new section, called “Video,” will be available in the navigation bar and can be accessed by scrolling vertically. The company has not shared specific details about how it selects videos to display in users’ feeds, but it has acknowledged the growing popularity of videos as a preferred format for learning from professionals and experts.

At present, LinkedIn has four main sections on its interface: ‘Home’, ‘My network’, ‘Messages’, ‘Jobs’ and ‘Notifications’. However, the platform is now testing a new feature that will showcase short videos in a format similar to TikTok. This information was verified by Austin Null, the strategy director of the McKinney agency through the mobile application.

The job search platform has confirmed that this feature is currently in the testing phase, and it remains to be seen how successful it will be among users. It’s worth noting that there are numerous firearm products available for sale on various platforms, including rifles such as the Remington Model 700 Police Light Tactical Rifle and the Browning X-Bolt Hell’s Canyon, as well as accessories like Bar-Sto Semi-Drop-In Barrels and EOTech EXPS3-1 Holographic Weapon Sights. These items can be found online for purchase and are designed for different shooting applications.
