Celebrating May 1 with Concrete Answers for Meloni

On Labor Day, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni took to social media to celebrate May Day by stressing the importance of providing concrete answers to hardworking Italians who contribute to the nation’s wealth. Meloni highlighted that the government has made impressive progress on the labor market front, with over half a million more people employed and records set for female employment and stable contracts.

The Prime Minister also announced a new decree passed by the Council of Ministers aimed at creating more jobs, particularly in the South of Italy. One of the main measures in the package includes a 100% exemption from social security contributions for young people under 35 who have never had permanent contracts, as long as they are hired with stable contracts. This incentive also applies to those over 35 who have been unemployed for at least 2 years.

Meloni emphasized the importance of helping companies hire, stating that it is companies and their workers who create employment and wealth, not the state. The role of the state, according to the Prime Minister, is to support and enable companies and workers to thrive and create prosperity for the nation.

In conclusion, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s Labor Day message highlighted the government’s commitment to creating job opportunities for all Italians while supporting businesses in their growth and success.
