The Kandiyohi County Board is set to hold a meeting on May 7th in Willmar. Among the agenda items for the day are proclamations for Mental Health Month and Foster Care Appreciation Month, as well as Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day and Child Care Provider Appreciation Day.
The meeting will also feature presentations on mental health services and foster care in the county, provided by Kandiyohi County’s Health and Human Services, Woodland Centers, and the United Community Action Partnership Parent Support Outreach Program.
In addition to these presentations, the board will discuss and approve the 2024 Community Crime Intervention and Prevention Grant contract, bid award for reconstruction of County Road 7, and bid award for 2024 bituminous surfacing projects including overlays of County Roads 23 and 5.
