Judd Trump advances to 10th World Snooker quarter-final despite lackluster performance at World Snooker Championship

Trump described his performance as “average,” despite scoring his 979th career century and finishing with a break of 84. He struggled with the playing conditions on the Crucible table, feeling that it was heavy and difficult to control. However, he managed to stay patient and not be too hard on himself throughout the match.

Looking back on his performance, Trump emphasized the importance of taking a 6-2 lead in the first session. He felt confident once he established a lead and was able to capitalize on it. Trump also highlighted the importance of staying focused and not letting go of the lead once he had it.
