The University of Jamestown softball team faced Morningside University on Saturday, April 27 at the Mustangs’ Jensen Softball Complex. In the first game, the Jimmies started strong and scored the first run by singling home Trinity Gregg in the first inning. They added another run to take a commanding 2-0 lead before Morningside fought back with a run in the third to make it 2-1. The Jimmies secured their win with a run-scoring single by Gracie Fisher in the fifth, ending the game with a score of 3-1.
