Agricultural Technology Celebrated by Growers, Millers, and Bakers

The National Mall in Washington, DC hosted a Celebration of Modern Agriculture from May 6-8. Representatives from leading wheat and wheat foods groups, including Bill Dumais from the American Bakers Association, Jane DeMarchi from the North American Millers’ Association, Chandler Goule from the National Association of Wheat Growers, Jake Westin from NAWG, and Catherine Miller from US Wheat Associates, were among those present.

The event showcased the latest advancements in agricultural technology used by growers, ranchers, equipment makers, and input suppliers. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about innovative methods and tools being used in modern agriculture to improve efficiency and sustainability.

The gathering highlighted the importance of wheat and wheat foods in our agricultural industry. Didier Rosada, a master baker with Uptown Bakers in Hyattsville, Maryland, displayed bread baked using these innovative methods at the event.
