Jennifer Welham Quoted on ICF’s $236M USAID Health Survey Support Recompete Contract Acquisition

ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI) has been awarded a potential five-year, $236 million follow-on contract from the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Bureau for Global Health to continue supporting the Demographic and Health Surveys Program. Under this recompete contract, ICF will assist participating countries in improving their capacity to collect, analyze, and disseminate data, as well as implement strategies to address marginalized and vulnerable populations.

Jennifer Welham, senior vice president for health, people, and human services at ICF, expressed pride in the company’s ongoing partnership with USAID and its commitment to advancing global health knowledge. She emphasized the importance of the DHS Program in providing crucial data for health, population, and nutrition programs worldwide for more than 40 years.

The DHS Program has played a significant role in supporting national governments, researchers, and international organizations in policymaking, financing, planning, and program management efforts with over 400 surveys conducted in more than 90 countries. With this new contract extension, ICF is focused on leveraging technology to enhance survey efficiency and automation while complying with data security measures and country ownership requirements.
