Cincinnati Bengals Shine in 2024 NFL Draft with Immediate Impact Players, Particularly on the Lines

The Cincinnati Bengals should be pleased with their performance in the first two days of the draft, earning a grade of B+. They made ten picks in total, including Amarius Mims in the first round, Kris Jenkins and Jermaine Burton in the second and third rounds respectively. These picks solidified their offensive line with a player who has elite potential, while also adding quality to the defensive line and an explosive playmaker at wide receiver.

Amarius Mims was a favorite pick for the Bengals, as he has all the qualities of a starting tackle and could be a strong presence on their offensive line if he can stay healthy. This pick solidified their offensive line and set them up for success in the long run.

On the other hand, McKinnley Jackson was not as well received by fans as he may have been a bit of a reach in the third round. While he may not be the most explosive player on defense, he will likely only be a run-down player making this pick seem too early in the draft. However, it’s important to remember that this is just one aspect of his game and overall he brings depth to their interior defense which is important for any team.

In later rounds they picked up players like Erick All, Josh Newton, Tanner McLachlan, Cedric Johnson, Daijahn Anthony and Matt Lee to fill various positions and add depth to their roster. Overall they made strong choices that should benefit their team in the long run.
