
This year’s winner will be revealed on April 17 through a virtual awards ceremony.
MCLEAN, Va. – The Monitoring Association (TMA) and Safety Sales & Integration (SSI) have announced the finalists for the TMA/SSI 2023 Monitoring Technologies “Marvel” Award.
The 3 finalists are:
- Edgeworth Safety
- National Monitoring Center
- Statewide Central Station
The award, honoring innovations in monitoring center technologies, is co-sponsored by TMA and Safety Sales & Integration (SSI) and coordinated by the TMA Technologies Committee.
The objective of the Marvel Award is to give recognition for monitoring centers making and/or employing cutting-edge technologies to raise awareness of these new technologies.
“The monitoring market is experiencing exponential shifts as new technologies emerges,” says TMA Technologies Committee Co-Chair Sascha Kylau, OneTel Safety. “Our purpose with this award is to bring these monitoring centers and their partners who are demonstrating how new technologies are permitting safety monitoring providers to attain new levels of efficiency and service. It is fascinating to see the evolution firsthand.”
The Marvel Award will be presented to one particular general winner for the “best adoption of new technologies to advance your enterprise.” Submission categories for the award incorporated:
- Most effective implementation of video verification
- Most effective implementation of PERS monitoring
- Most effective technologies to make efficiency in monitoring
- Most effective cybersecurity
- Most effective new enterprise model and
- Most effective migration to the cloud.
The TMA/SSI 2023 Marvel Technologies Award will be presented on April 17 in a virtual awards ceremony. The winner will be featured in the August 2023 Monitoring Problem of SSI. Runners-up will also get coverage in the challenge.
The Monitoring Association (TMA), formerly the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA), is an international non-profit trade association that represents specialist monitoring providers, safety systems integrators and providers of merchandise and solutions to the market. Incorporated in 1950, TMA represents its members prior to Congress and regulatory agencies on the neighborhood, state and federal levels, and other authorities getting jurisdiction (AHJs) more than the market.
