Mid-America Science Museum hosting exhibition featuring superheroes

The new traveling exhibit, Hall of Heroes, will be opening its doors to the public on Saturday, May 25th at Mid-America Science Museum. Located in the museum’s Hall of Wonder, this exhibit delves into the history and science of superheroes. Visitors can expect interactive programming, movie props, replicas, and rare artifacts from major motion pictures and television shows, both past and present.

Diane LaFollette, CEO of Mid-America Science Museum expressed her excitement about the exhibit stating, “This is a unique opportunity for visitors to discover their inner hero and explore timeless ideals of courage, resilience and selflessness. It offers an intriguing exploration of the evolution of heroes in popular culture making it an enjoyable adventure for superhero fans of all ages.”

Hall of Heroes features a full-scale replica of the iconic 1960’s Barris Kustoms’ Batmobile. Guests can also visit the “Identification Station” to choose one of five superpower disciplines: “Powers of the Body,” “Powers of the Mind,” “Mastery,” “Gadgets,” and “Elements.” Interactive stations throughout the exhibit allow visitors to explore, learn and test their skills based on their chosen discipline.

The exhibit will run until Saturday August 27th and is free for members or included with general admission to the museum. Admission prices are $12 for adults, $10 for children aged 3 to 12, $11 for seniors aged 65 and older, teachers and military personnel. The museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sundays from 1 PM to 5 PM. Mid-America Science Museum is located at 500 Mid America Blvd in Hot Springs.
