The NFL Draft of 2024 is finally here and it is reported that several teams are interested in trading up to acquire some of the top prospects in this year’s draft. Could the Minnesota Vikings be one of those teams looking to secure a successor for Kirk Cousins? Will veteran wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Tee Higgins be traded for rookie replacements? At 8:36 am ET, the Chicago Bears kicked off the draft by selecting Caleb Williams at No. 1 overall. Just a few minutes later at 8:42 am ET, the Washington Commanders followed with Jayden Daniels at No. 2 overall. The Patriots made a move at No. 3, selecting Drake Maye at 8:49 am ET. The Cardinals picked Marvin Harrison Jr., the first wide receiver off the board, at 8:54 am ET. LSU’s Malik Nabers was selected by the Giants at No. 6 and Notre Dame’s Joe Alt was chosen by Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers at No. 5 just before him.
