Downtown Summerlin reveals new ‘Mood Sculpture’ to raise awareness for Mental Health Awareness Month

In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, Downtown Summerlin has set up unique displays to promote the importance of mental health. One of these displays features Tony Tasset’s ‘Mood Sculpture,’ which encourages people to embrace a range of emotions as part of their mental well-being.

Halee Harczynski, senior director of marketing for Downtown Summerlin, emphasized the importance of addressing mental health for people of all ages. She explained that the latest sculpture, which features a variety of moods, was unveiled to start conversations about mental health.

Visitors can explore the rainbow of moods represented by the sculpture inside the butterfly garden under The Pavilion at the property. Organizers suggest various ways to prioritize mental health, such as staying active, seeking therapy, or enjoying activities like shopping at the weekly farmer’s market.

Overall, Downtown Summerlin aims to raise awareness about mental health and promote self-care practices during Mental Health Awareness Month. By providing a space for reflection and discussion, they hope to encourage individuals to prioritize their mental well-being.
