Check Technology Acquired by Innovative Motion Technologies

Check Technology, a Troy, MI-based company specializing in flexible heating systems, has been acquired by Innovative Motion Technologies (IMT), a Germantown, WI-based industrial technology platform that focuses on interface and control solutions. The exact amount of the deal was not disclosed, but it is expected to enhance IMT’s strategic position in the healthcare, agriculture, and off-road vehicle markets.

Founded in 1993, Check Technology is known for designing and manufacturing custom heating and control systems for seating and other applications across various industries. With manufacturing facilities located in Troy, Michigan, the company has been a key player in American-made control modules since its inception.

Under the leadership of CEO Rich Weeden, IMT is a provider of industrial technology platforms and a designer and supplier of interface and controls solutions for a wide range of OEM and aftermarket applications. The company operates two main brands: Raffel Systems and Micro-Air.
