The American Academy of Nursing is currently seeking abstract submissions for its upcoming 2024 Health Policy Conference. This conference, titled “Courageous Transformations Towards an Equitable Future,” will be held from October 31st to November 2nd, 2024 at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C.
The focus of this conference is on the importance of virtual health, community-based partnerships, and the economic value of nursing in advancing towards a more equitable future. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about leadership strategies for systemic change and promoting overall well-being. Interprofessional thought leaders in policy and practice will share key interventions for health equity that will transform the way healthcare is delivered, paid for, and received.
The Academy is inviting fellows, nurses, students, policymakers, and other stakeholders to engage in a conversation that will help them prepare for trusted collaborations and take bold actions to advance evidence-driven policy solutions. Abstract submissions for the conference are due by June 7th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
