Caney Valley’s Cooper Fogle and Bartlesville High’s Gentry Turner were named Athlete of the Year at the Patriot Auto Group Night of Scholars and Champions. Both athletes have excelled in multiple sports, with impressive rankings in their respective categories.
Turner has been a top-5 finisher in 6A cross country and is expected to make a strong showing at the upcoming track and field state competition. Meanwhile, Fogle is well-known for his success in track and field as well as his leadership on the tackling field for Caney Valley. He won the pole vault title in 2A last year and finished third this spring.
