Trust the Science Act Approved by House and National Ag Aviation Association in Washington D.C.

The National Agricultural Aviation Association (NAAA) is currently showcasing its equipment manufacturers, farmers, ranchers and innovators focused on environmental impact at Ag on the Mall in Washington, D.C. The Future of Food and Farming theme highlights the NAAA’s commitment to sustainable agriculture practices.

Meanwhile, the “Trust the Science Act” has passed in the House, which directs the Department of the Interior to remove Endangered Species Act protections for the gray wolf. U.S. Representative Dan Newhouse released a statement regarding the bill, stating that while the gray wolf population has recovered by all metrics, private landowners continue to face challenges due to ESA regulations.

In response to outbreaks of bird flu in dairy cattle, the U.S government is collecting ground beef samples from retail stores in affected states. While both CDC and WHO have stated that public health risk is low, it is higher for those who have been exposed to infected animals. Despite this, government remains confident in meat supply safety.
