Eagles and A.J. Brown sign 3-year, $96 million contract extension

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced a three-year contract extension for wide receiver A.J. Brown, worth $96 million with $84 million guaranteed. This deal makes Brown the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history, earning $32 million per season.

Brown’s new contract surpasses the earnings of other top wide receivers like Amon-Ra St. Brown and Tyreek Hill, who earn around $30 million per season. Since joining the Eagles, Brown has been an impressive performer on the field, with stats including 1,456 receiving yards and seven touchdowns last season.

Despite rumors of wanting to leave the team, Brown quickly dispelled them and confirmed his commitment to Philadelphia in February. With two years remaining on his previous deal, he has now secured his future with the Eagles through the 2029 season.

Paired with quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is also locked in long-term, Brown is positioned to be a dominant force in the NFC East for years to come. The new contract solidifies his status as a key player for the Eagles and cements his role as a leader on the team.

The deal was negotiated by Tory Dandy of CAA, ensuring that Brown will remain with the Eagles through 2029. With this new agreement in place, Brown’s future with the team is secure and he can continue to excel on the field for many more seasons to come.
