Verdantas, a Tampa-based provider of science, engineering, and consulting services, has been acquired by Sterling Investment Partners in a deal where the financial terms were not disclosed. As part of the acquisition, Verdantas’ management, employees, and RTC will maintain significant equity stakes in the company.
The legal counsel for RTC Partners in the sale was Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Dechert LLP and Seyfarth Shaw LLP acted as legal counsel for Sterling Investment Partners. Cohn Reznick, LLP and CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP provided accounting and tax advisors for RTC Partners in the transaction. On the other side, Dechert LLP and Seyfarth Shaw LLP served as legal counsel while Alvarez & Marsal LLP provided tax advisory services for Sterling Investment Partners and its affiliates.
