Vandalism caught on camera: Thief strikes Miramar business twice in one night

The Forever Smoke Shop, located in Miramar, was vandalized just before its grand opening. A man was caught on surveillance video coming out of the shadows with hammers in hand, smashing the front windows and door of the business. After causing damage, the man took a photo of his handiwork before moving to the back of the shop to do the same. He returned 20 minutes later to inflict more damage before destroying the surveillance cameras.

The owner arrived in the morning to discover the extent of the vandalism. Anthony Pascariella, owner of Major Ink Studios nearby, expressed disbelief at the situation and support for the affected business owner. The grand opening, scheduled for Saturday, may be impacted by this incident.

The community is urged to contact authorities with any potential leads as Miramar police and Broward Crime Stoppers are seeking any information that may lead to the apprehension of the suspect. The owner of The Forever Smoke Shop declined to speak on camera due to fear and uncertainty about the perpetrator’s identity and motives.
