Valencia CF has collaborated with LALIGA to introduce NFC technology at Mestalla stadium. This innovative system will allow VCF Socio season ticket holders to utilize their digital pass at the turnstiles. The transition to NFC passbook begins on May 5th during the match between Valencia CF and Deportivo Alavés, replacing the previous QR code-based system.
By scanning the circular icon on the contactless reader, fans will gain access to the stadium, eliminating the need for physical tickets. This streamlines and expedites entry into the stadium, reducing the risk of loss or theft while ensuring smoother access at stadium access points.
The NFC passbook is multi-season and valid for both the current season and the next two. Fans who do not have NFC-enabled devices can still use their current digital pass by scanning a QR code at the turnstiles.
