The 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships will take place in Lima, Peru from August 26-31 and USA Track & Field has received confirmation of adequate safety measures that will be implemented at the event. As a result, the decision has been made to send a team to represent Team USA at the Championships.
The safety and well-being of USATF athletes, coaches, managers, and staff remain the organization’s top priority. USATF will maintain close communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the safety of everyone involved. The organization is dedicated to offering its athletes the best competitive opportunities as they strive for success.
