Rangers Team Exhibit Showcases Historic Baseball from 2023 World Series Victory – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

An exhibit showcasing decades of artifacts was recently unveiled by the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field. One of the highlights of the exhibit is a baseball used by pitcher Josh Sborz to strike out Arizona’s Ketel Marte for the final out of the 2023 World Series. The display was created with the help of Heritage Werks, a club archival service company, and includes items from the Rangers Vault, their archive.

The exhibit honors the team’s first World Series championship and commemorates their only previous MLB All-Star Game played in Arlington. Hall of Famer Ivan Rodriguez and team executive John Blake unveiled three display cases featuring artifacts and photos from these events at The Ballpark in Arlington.

One of these cases showcases items from the 2023 World Series Champions, such as Josh Sborz’s baseball, Corey Seager’s jersey from Game 1, Adolis Garcia’s bat, and more. Another case highlights artifacts from the 1995 All-Star Game, including A.L. and N.L Managers lineup cards, game-used items, and even the 1995 All-Star MLB Trophy itself!

The exhibit is located in the Southeast Entrance lobby of Globe Life Field and can be viewed during all Rangers home games this season. Public tours of Globe Life Field are also expected to include a stop at this unique exhibit that pays tribute to some of the team’s most memorable moments in history.
