Cowboys ink deal with wide receiver Tyron Billy-Johnson

Tyron Billy-Johnson has rejoined the Cowboys after spending last season on the team’s practice squad. He had visited with the team on Monday and his return to the roster was announced by the Cowboys on Tuesday.

Billy-Johnson’s most recent regular season action was during the 2022 season, where he made one catch for eight yards in two appearances for the Texans and played in two games for the Raiders. He has also made regular season appearances with the Jaguars and Chargers in the past.

With the Chargers in 2020, Billy-Johnson had 20 catches for 398 yards and three touchdowns. In addition to his work as a receiver, he has also spent time as a returner while moving between different teams in the league.
