In the wake of the recent controversial revocation of the Roe vs. Wade decision by the conservative Supreme Court, various artists at Glastonbury festival took to the stage to express their disapproval. Among them was Olivia Rodrigo, who dedicated a song to Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and Brett Kavanaugh. Not alone in her outrage, Rodrigo was joined by singer Lily Allen as they sang their protest song together. Many other artists at Glastonbury also expressed their disdain towards the Supreme Court’s decision on stage. Billie Eilish, Phoebe Bridgers, and Harry Styles were among those who spoke out against it. The music industry reacted strongly on social media as well, with Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong sharing their concerns and disappointment with their followers.
