Botswana Takes Gold in Men’s 4×400 as USA Claims Five Other Titles

The Bahamas played host to the World Athletics Relays 24, where Team USA solidified its dominance in relay events leading up to the Paris 2024 athletics competition. Despite being disqualified in the heats, the Botswana men claimed victory in the 4x400m relay.

Noah Lyles and Gabby Thomas were instrumental in securing victories for the U.S. in their respective 4x100m races. Thomas even ran a second leg to help the U.S. women set a world-leading time in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:21.70.
