Aon Swing 5 and Next 10 Players Ready for Wells Fargo Championship

On Tuesday, Taylor Pendrith made history as he secured his first PGA Tour victory at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. The Canadian golfer had a memorable day as he finished ahead of Ben Kohles and Alex Noren, who finished second and third, respectively, at TPC Craig Ranch.

The top five players who accumulated the most points from the Corales Puntacana Championship, Zurich Classic, and Nelson were Pendrith, Kohles, Noren, Billy Horschel, and Kevin Tway. These players qualified for the upcoming tournaments based on their combined point totals. Tournament winners are prioritized in the Aon Swing 5 and Next 10 categories.

In addition to his win at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, Pendrith also earned spots in the Wells Fargo Championship and Memorial Tournament through the Aon Swing 5 rankings. Meanwhile, Ben Kohles and Alex Noren also earned spots in the Wells Fargo Championship through their strong showing at TPC Craig Ranch.

Chad Ramey finished just outside of the top five in the Swing 5 rankings, while the Aon Next 10 group had minimal changes since the RBC Heritage event. Shane Lowry moved into the top 10 of the Next 10 rankings after winning Zurich with Rory McIlroy. The current top 10 players in FedExCup points who did not finish in the top 50 last season joined Ludvig Åberg, Matthieu Pavon, Stephan Jaeger, Will Zalatoris
