Noah Lyles and Gabby Thomas Lead USA Track and Field Team at World Athletics Relays

Noah Lyles and Gabby Thomas are two of the top athletes leading the 28-member USA Track and Field team for the World Athletics Relays, set to take place in the Bahamas from May 4th to 5th. The top 14 nations in the men’s and women’s 4x100m and 4x400m, as well as the mixed-gender 4x400m, will qualify for the Paris Olympics. Afterwards, the top two nations per event that have not yet qualified will earn the last spots based on world rankings on June 30th.

In August, Noah Lyles made history by becoming the first sprinter to sweep world titles in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m since Usain Bolt in 2015. He played a crucial role in anchoring the U.S. men’s 4x100m relay team to a gold medal. Lyles is set to compete in both the men’s 4x100m pool at the World Relays alongside Olympic silver medalist Kenny Bednarek, among other talented athletes.
