Child sex abuse suspect sought at Museum of Science and Industry – NBC Chicago

On Thursday, at the Museum of Science and Industry located on 5700 S. DuSable Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, a young girl was sexually assaulted by an unknown individual after she got separated from her group. The incident occurred when the girl was approached by the suspect who offered to help her find her group and took her to the museum’s second floor.

While the girl was using the restroom, the suspect entered and proceeded to crawl under the stall door, touching the child inappropriately. The girl reacted by kicking towards the offender, who then fled from the scene. The suspect is described as being between 30 to 40 years old, weighing 160 to 180 pounds, and standing at a height between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 3 inches tall. He is believed to have curly, light brown hair, a beard, and a tattoo of a roaring lion on his neck.

The Chicago police have released a community alert stating that they are currently seeking the individual responsible for this heinous crime. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Bureau of Detectives Special Investigations Unit at 312-492-3810.
