The Peace Bridge will shine brightly for World Autism Day

Autism Ontario will be hosting a significant event on April 2 to conclude World Autism Day and launch their Celebrate the Spectrum campaign. The organization will illuminate the Peace Bridge with their brand colors from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and local dignitaries, Autism Ontario staff, and families are invited to Mather Arch in Fort Erte to hear from Margaret Spoelstra, the CEO of Autism Ontario, about the importance of World Autism Day and show support for the autistic community.

The event will begin with light refreshments and a photo opportunity of the illuminated Peace Bridge. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals to learn more about autism and how they can make society more inclusive for autistic individuals. Autism Ontario’s mission is to provide support, education, and advocacy for autistic individuals, their families, and communities across Ontario.
