Byron Murphy II Becomes a New Member of Seattle Sports 710AM and More Updates

Seattle Sports 710AM had Byron Murphy II on the morning after he was drafted as the newest Seahawk. He was grateful for being selected at No. 16, something that wasn’t expected by many, including Seahawks’ president of football operations/general manager John Schneider. Murphy expressed his excitement about living his dream and feeling blessed to be part of the team.

Murphy hails from DeSoto, Texas, where football culture runs deep. He talked about his experiences playing football in high school and college, mentioning that he graduated in three years from Texas with the help of taking college classes since his freshman year of high school.

When asked about fitting into the Seahawks’ scheme, Murphy expressed his excitement about playing as a three-tech in Seattle. The d-line coach sees him in this position, which he loves playing and has experience with from his years at Texas.
