The Trammell Crow Company (TCC) and Georgia Advanced Technology Ventures (GATV) have recently finished the first phase of Science Square, a mixed-use development located on 18 acres near Georgia Tech’s campus in Atlanta, Georgia. This phase included the construction of Science Square Labs, a cutting-edge life science building, as well as The Grace, a 14-story residential tower.
Science Square Labs, which spans 368,258 square feet, is designed to house state-of-the-art labs and clean-room space. Its construction marks a significant step in creating a hub for scientific innovation in the area. The facility will help foster collaboration and advancement in the field of life sciences.
The Grace Residences, a 280-unit multifamily tower, began welcoming residents in April and offers a mix of market-rate and affordable housing options. The development includes a 14-story tower and a connected six-story mid-rise building. Residents can enjoy various amenities such as a club room, an outdoor courtyard with fire pits, grilling areas, and a pool and fitness center.
With this successful completion, Science Square has taken an important step towards becoming a vibrant and dynamic community for both science and residential living.
