SABIC Fujian Petrochemicals has recently awarded KBR a contract to license its phenol technology in China. This project, which was announced in January 2024, involves providing technology licensing and engineering design for a 250,000-tonne per year phenol plant at SABIC’s Fujian Petrochemical Complex. It is expected to be completed by 2026.
