Police report arrest of Madison man involved in five business break-ins

In Rusk County, a 37-year-old man has been arrested for breaking into five businesses in Madison, according to police reports on Tuesday. The Madison Police Department’s Burglary Crime Unit conducted investigations and linked the man to multiple break-ins that occurred between mid and late January.

One of the reported incidents involved a break-in at a business on Gilman Street where the front door was broken, and cash register trays were stolen. The police have not disclosed the specific charges the man may face, or the exact date of his arrest.

The break-ins took place at various locations in Madison, including three businesses on Monroe Street, one on the 400 block of W. Gilman Street, and another on the 2400 block of University Avenue.
