Rich Shertenlieb, former Sports Hub co-host, reveals upcoming Boston radio show

Rich Shertenlieb, a well-known radio personality from the “Toucher & Rich” show on 98.5 The Sports Hub, has announced that he will be returning to the airwaves with a new show on classic rock station WZLX. After leaving his previous show in November, Shertenlieb revealed on Monday that “The Rich Shertenlieb Show” is in the works. He expressed his excitement to be back on the radio in Boston and hinted at a lineup of new co-hosts that he has been working on for the past several months.

Shertenlieb first came to the Boston radio scene in 2006 alongside Fred Toucher, his former co-host. The departure of Shertenlieb from The Sports Hub had left many wondering where he would end up, but now it seems he has found a new home at WZLX. With his arrival, changes are happening at the station, as the current morning show personalities are set to leave. The station acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing hosts, Pete McKenzie and Heather Ford, while also announcing the closure of that chapter of WZLX.

The sudden death of longtime WZLX morning show DJ Kevin Karlson last October added to the changes at the station, making Shertenlieb’s return and the new show all the more significant. As Shertenlieb prepares to launch his new program, he has promised lots of topics to discuss and news to share, including his thoughts on non-compete agreements in the radio industry. Fans of Shertenlieb and radio enthusiasts in Boston are eagerly anticipating the debut of “The Rich Shertenlieb Show” on WZLX.
