Innovative Titanium Tool Disrupts Mini Multitool Market

The Ti EDC Wrench is a compact and unique titanium multitool that stands out from others on Kickstarter. Made by Hong Kong gear manufacturer Angie, the tool is CNC-machined from sandblasted Grade 5 titanium, making it durable and long-lasting. Its adjustable wrench, which opens to a maximum width of 15 mm, is its standout feature. Additionally, engraved millimeter markings on the base of the wrench enable it to serve as a measuring caliper, although the markings are not numerically labelled.

Indentations in the wrench jaws create a 4-mm bit-holder hole when closed together. The Ti EDC comes with two screwdriver bits – a flathead and a Phillips – stored in two magnetized slots when not in use. The magnetized hinged gate securely closes across the ends of these slots. The bit-holder indentations also allow the wrench jaws to double as a bottle opener when separated.

The Ti EDC Wrench also features a carbide window-breaking stud, keyring hole, and a slot for a user-supplied vial of glow-in-the-dark tritium. Measuring 74 mm long by 25 mm wide by 7 mm thick and weighing 32.6 grams (1.1 oz), the tool is available on Kickstarter for a pledge of $69, with a planned retail price of $109. For those interested, a video demonstrating the multitool’s features is available. Another adjustable-wrench titanium multitool to consider is the TiSpanner.
