Podcast: GameStrat Discusses the Introduction of Video Technology in Texas High School Football

In 2024, Texas high school football teams will finally be allowed to use video technology during games. The University Interscholastic League (UIL) has approved the use of video and data technology, including computers, tablets, i-Pads, and smartphones, on the sidelines. However, they have not gone as far as the NCAA in allowing this technology to be used on the field during the game. Instead, the UIL permits its use in the coaching booths, during the game, and at halftime in the locker room.

High School Football America has been working with their partner GameStrat for the past five years to educate coaches on the benefits of the company’s premier sideline instant replay system. GameStrat’s Director of Sales, Ben Fisher, recently discussed the exciting news that in-game video technology will be available in Texas on the High School Football America Podcast.
