The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has recently signed a three-year media rights agreement with Midco Sports Plus. This partnership will see the CCHA’s regular season games and Mason Cup quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship streamed on Midco Sports Plus through a direct-to-consumer branded digital network called CCHA TV.
CCHA TV will serve as a one-stop shop for all CCHA digital content and will be the exclusive streaming platform for live and on-demand coverage of member schools. Fans can subscribe to CCHA TV starting this September and choose from new monthly and annual subscription plans.
The upcoming season schedules for CCHA will be released on Tuesday, May 7. Viewers can access CCHA TV powered by Midco Sports Plus through mobile/tablet apps for both iOS and Android, as well as connected TV device apps for AppleTV, FireTV, and Roku. Additionally, there is a web-based browser interface available for those who prefer to watch on their computer.
This agreement between the CCHA and Midco Sports Plus marks an exciting development in the world of collegiate hockey, providing fans with more opportunities to watch and support their favorite teams.
