The Top 40 distributor hired Bori Ly as the vice president of business development in this role, he will collaborate with the BD team and company founder Greg Muzzillo to advance the firm’s recruiting efforts in the promotional products industry.
Ly, who previously served as the regional vice president of strategic operations support at Top 40 distributor American Solutions for Business (ASI, 120075), expressed his enthusiasm for Proforma’s dedication to supporting distributor owners. With over two years of experience at ASB, Ly has a background in coaching sales representatives, securing national accounts, and selling e-commerce solutions. Prior to his time at ASB, he worked as a national sales manager at Top 40 supplier HPG (asi/61966) for five years.
Muzzillo commended Ly’s extensive experience and leadership skills, citing him as an ideal candidate to help drive the company’s recruiting efforts and facilitate the growth of distributor owners. Ly was drawn to Proforma by its $30 million investment in technology, which he believes will lead to success by enabling affiliates to secure large enterprise accounts and e-commerce clients.
Proforma has also recently appointed Meg Erber as the director of sales in February 2023. Erber is a prominent figure in the promotional industry and is known for her expertise as a podcaster, educator, and volunteer. Additionally, in August 2023, Proforma appointed Charity Gibson as the chief marketing officer. Gibson is an industry veteran and educator recognized for her influential presence on social media and frequent speaking engagements at trade shows.
