100 Pro-Palestinian Protesters Detained on Boston Campus by Police

Riot police intervened in pro-Palestinian protests at Harvard and MIT universities in Boston, leading to dozens of arrests. The protests were calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and demanding an end to Israeli aid.

In response to the conflict, pro-Palestine camps have emerged at universities across the country. Students are demanding a definitive ceasefire, refusing funds from Israeli donors, and calling on Washington to stop aid to Israel.

The Northeastern University campus in Boston was the site of a recent pro-Palestinian camp that led to over one hundred arrests during its evacuation on Saturday morning. The university clarified that students who showed their Northeastern University ID were released, while those who refused were arrested as some had reportedly made violent anti-Semitic insults the night before.

Similar protests have also taken place at Emerson College in Boston and New York University, leading to dozens of arrests.
