Evaluate employment practices using CDA’s new Practice Health Checkится

In the second quarter of 2024, the CDA will be focusing on alternative workweek schedules and employee onboarding as the theme for their Practice Health Check. This check is designed to help dental practice owners and employers ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws while also providing a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.

To participate in this check, which consists of just two questions, members are encouraged to provide feedback on their practice’s scheduling practices and employee onboarding procedures. By taking this check, dental professionals can receive guidance on evaluating their practice’s compliance with California law and best practices for employee onboarding. Additionally, they can access additional resources from the CDA to help them stay in compliance.

The Practice Health Check was first introduced by the CDA in 2021, covering topics such as patient financial policies, dental plan billing practices, and Cal/OSHA documentation compliance. Members can review past Practice Health Checks online for valuable insights into best practices in dentistry.

Start the Practice Health Check now to ensure your practice is in compliance with alternative workweek schedules and employee onboarding practices. Your feedback is valuable to the CDA in improving their services and helping dental professionals succeed within their practice.
