Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined for Bucks-Pacers Game 4

The Milwaukee Bucks will face the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 without two of their star players, Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who are both sidelined with injuries. Lillard suffered an aggravated Achilles injury in Game 3 and is currently wearing a walking boot, while Antetokounmpo will miss his sixth consecutive game due to a calf strain.

Head coach Doc Rivers confirmed that both players would be out for the crucial game on Sunday, leaving the Bucks at a significant disadvantage. Milwaukee lost a close Game 3 in overtime that gave the Pacers a 2-1 series lead. In the absence of Lillard and Antetokounmpo, the Bucks will rely on increased production from players like Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, and Brook Lopez.

Lillard had been performing well in the playoffs since Antetokounmpo was out, averaging 24.3 points and seven assists in the regular season. However, Milwaukee has struggled without Lillard on the floor, going 1-8 in regular season games he missed. In contrast, Antetokounmpo had been instrumental in Milwaukee’s success throughout the season and had been leading scorer for much of Game 3 before getting injured late in regulation.

The Bucks will have to find a way to compete against the Pacers without their two best players in Game 4. It is unclear when Lillard or Antetokounmpo will be able to return to the court, but their absence could make it even more challenging for Milwaukee to maintain its momentum against Indiana.

Overall, this is a tough situation for both teams as they prepare for Game 4 of the playoffs without their top players. The Bucks will have to rely on other players’ performances and strategy to keep up with their rivals if they want to advance past this round of competition.
