Recently, the Noida Authority successfully reclaimed 18 acres of land worth Rs. 308 crore from land mafias. These mafias had illegally encroached upon government land and were attempting to sell plots to unsuspecting buyers. Through extensive research and investigation, the Authority identified various sectors, villages, and areas along the Noida Expressway where these encroachments were taking place.

The anti-encroachment drive targeted villages such as Sorkha Zahidabad, Salarpur, Asadullapur, Mohiyapur, Sadarpur, Mamura, Garhi Samastipur, Gulawali, and Salarpur Khadar. These areas were heavily affected by land mafias who had illegally taken control of government land and were illegally trying to profit off of it. The successful reclamation of this land has put a stop to these illegal activities and has saved the government a significant amount of money.

The Noida Authority’s strong message against taking advantage of government land for personal gain serves as a reminder that such activities will not be tolerated. The successful anti-encroachment drive is a testament to the Authority’s commitment to upholding the law and protecting the rights of citizens.
