Nicklaus Children’s Health System receives improved and confirmed ratings from Fitch and Standard and Poor’s

Nicklaus Children’s Health System recently received an upgraded AA- bond rating with a Stable outlook from Fitch Ratings and a reaffirmed A rating with an improved Positive outlook from Standard and Poor’s. This reflects the organization’s commitment to enhancing pediatric care leadership in the region.

Nicklaus Children’s Health System is a nonprofit 307-bed freestanding children’s hospital and a network of pediatric outpatient centers across South Florida. It has been recognized by rating agencies for its increasing market share, expanding ambulatory services, and growing hospital affiliations in the region. The health system is dedicated solely to children, making it the only healthcare system of its kind in South Florida.

The health system is known for its excellence in pediatric medicine, with many programs ranked among the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report. Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation, a fundraising arm, supports this mission by raising funds to support the health system’s operations and programs.
