Collaboration between Nicklaus Children’s Health System and Philips

Nicklaus Children’s Health System has announced plans to enhance their cardiac care with the Philips EPIQ CVx and Compact 5500CV AI-enabled ultrasound systems. These systems automate measurements and strain quantification to reduce quantification time by 51% and help sonographers reduce exam time for 2D imaging by 20%. TrueVue imaging technology will aid in interpreting structural heart disease progression and improving communication between echocardiographers and interventionalists. This technology will provide crucial clinical information, increase diagnostic confidence, and ultimately improve procedure guidance and patient outcomes.
