Local News: Chattanooga Office of Community Health Introduces Mental Health Clinics for Underserved Communities

In Chattanooga, the Office of Community Health (OCE) has recently launched new mental health clinics to address the needs of underserved communities in the area. These services are made available through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Minority Health, and will be offered at community centers located in neighborhoods identified by Mayor Tim Kelly as having a higher need for mental health care.

OCE has partnered with several organizations to establish these new mental health clinics, including AIM Center, First Baptist Cares, Align Wellness, Lifespring, and Mission Medicos. Each organization brings unique resources and expertise to ensure that individuals in underserved communities receive the care they need.
