Yasir Anwar Named Chief Technology Officer of Inspire Brands

Inspire Brands has recently appointed Yasir Anwar as its new Chief Technology Officer. Anwar brings over 25 years of technology experience to the role, having previously held leadership positions at major Fortune 500 companies such as Williams-Sonoma, Macy’s, Walmart, and Wells Fargo. His extensive expertise in technology leadership will be instrumental in enhancing Inspire’s technology capabilities.

As Chief Technology Officer at Inspire, Anwar will lead various teams including Product Engineering, Data Engineering, Technology Operations, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, and Infrastructure and Development Operations. Anwar expressed his enthusiasm for this new role, stating that he is eager to contribute to Inspire Brands’ technology strategy and work with six iconic brands to drive transformative change.

Inspire Brands co-founder and CEO Paul Brown expressed confidence in Anwar’s abilities to help the company develop shared technology capabilities for its iconic brands. He believes that Anwar’s ability to build in-house and agile technology teams will play a crucial role in enabling faster operations, meeting guest and franchisee needs, and integrating data-driven insights into the business.

Anwar officially joined Inspire Brands on May 6 and will report directly to Co-Founder and CEO Paul Brown. He will also serve on the company’s Management Committee, further solidifying his key role within the organization. His collaborative approach and track record of leading transformative change make him a valuable asset to Inspire Brands as it continues to evolve and grow.
