Rob Futrick, the Chief Technology Officer of Anaconda Inc., has been appointed to the Forbes Technology Council, an esteemed group of top technology executives. In his role on the council, Futrick will focus on sharing his expertise in secure and accessible open-source AI development tools that empower users to build AI quickly and confidently.
Futrick’s experience in software and product development, combined with his knowledge of Python and data science, make him a valuable addition to the council. He will contribute articles on how to increase ROI, scale adoption, and accelerate time-to-value with AI and data science solutions. Additionally, he will share his insights on Forbes.com Expert Panels alongside other technology leaders.
Futrick believes that organizations must ensure their solutions are both secure and scalable to fully benefit from the surge in AI innovation. His rich experience in building engineering teams and complex software systems for leading companies has prepared him well for this role. Prior to joining Anaconda Inc., he was the product lead for Azure’s HPC and AI software platform following Microsoft’s acquisition of Cycle Computing, a company he co-founded.
