Tigers Dominate Lindenwood in 12-Run Victory on Tuesday | Sports

On Tuesday, Mizzou baseball faced Lindenwood and emerged victorious with a 13-1 win in just seven innings. The Tigers’ offense started strong, with Justin Colon driving in Danny Corona to take Mizzou’s lead to 1-0 in the first inning. The game was tied at one in the fourth, but Mizzou’s offense exploded, scoring nine runs thanks to contributions from several players including Jackson Beaman and Jack Holubowski. Matt Garcia added three more runs with a three-run homer in the sixth inning, resulting in a 13-1 victory for Mizzou.

The Tigers’ pitching staff also played a key role in the victory, with Victor Quinn, Ben Pederson, and Xavier Lovett closing out the game without allowing any additional runs. This win marked Mizzou’s 20th of the season and left them with a record of 13-10 at home under Head Coach Kerrick Jackson.

Mizzou will next face South Carolina at home starting on Friday at 6:00 p.m., as they look to continue their winning streak and improve their record against a tough opponent.
