On April 25th, supporters, Middle Park Health employees and community members gathered for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Middle Park Health Fraser Campus. The new healthcare center, located on the eastern side of Grand County at Telemark Drive and U.S. Highway 40, is set to provide a range of services including emergency department care, laboratory and diagnostic imaging services as well as two inpatient beds.
The Fraser Campus of Middle Park Health is planned to be a two-story, 30,000-square foot facility equipped with a helicopter pad to handle any medical emergency from minor injuries to critical cases. The first floor will house emergency medical services, four emergency exam rooms, two trauma bays, two licensed hospital beds, CT scanning, X-ray and lab services. Meanwhile the second floor will be 15,000 square feet that will serve future needs. Although the infrastructure of the second floor is already in place, the interior will be completed at a later date.
Middle Park Medical Foundation offers philanthropy opportunities for individuals who wish to contribute more to the project. As a Colorado State-approved Enterprise Zone Contribution Project cash gifts are eligible for a 25% tax credit while in-kind gifts are eligible for a 12.5% tax credit.
