Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its latest electric vehicle, the all-new G 580 with EQ Technology. This model represents a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, as it is the first fully electric variant of the iconic off-road vehicle.
The electric G-Class stays true to the character of its original model, featuring its distinctive angular design and iconic features. The body is constructed on a ladder frame that has been updated and strengthened by the development team to accommodate the electric drive. The G-Class also maintains its independent front suspension with double wishbones and a new rigid rear axle.
Powered by four individual electric motors near each wheel, delivering a maximum output of 432 kW, the electric G-Class offers an impressive range of up to 473 kilometers according to WLTP standards. Equipped with a high-voltage lithium-ion battery with a usable capacity of 116 kWh, this model provides drivers with exceptional performance and sustainability.
One of the most unique features of this vehicle is its G-TURN feature, which allows it to turn almost on the spot on unpaved surfaces.
